Hope Perches
You know how I love my embossing folders! I especially love to use them with sentiments. When a stamp set doesn't have an image, I tend to look through my embossing folder to see what would go with the sentiment. For this card, I used the Bird Call Cuttlebug folder with the Hope Perches Plain Jane from Verve.
I after I embossed the Sweet Blush cardstock, I rubbed a white craft ink pad across the embossed image to bring it out a bit more. I stamped the sentiment in Berry Sorbet ink. I added some scalloped borders with a border punch from Martha Stewart. The little rose is a Fairytale Rose from Prima.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a fabulous Sunday! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Hope Perches Plain Jane (Verve Stamps); Ink- Berry Sorbet, Fresh Snow (PTI); Paper- Sweet Blush, Berry Sorbet (PTI), Pearlized White (Paper Accents); Accessories- Bird Call Cuttlebug folder (Provocraft), Fairytale Rose (Prima Flowers), border punch (Martha Stewart), ribbon (Darice)pearls (Kaisercraft); Finished card measures 5.5"x4.25"
