It's Day 3 of the New Release Spotlights at Verve and today we're featuring
Love Deepens and the
Proverbs 31:28 Plain Jane. My card for today uses a sentiment from
Love Deepens and images from the
Bloom & Grow set that you saw the other day. The
Love Deepens set is a must have for making cards for mothers of all kinds.
I started by stamping the flowers and layering in different inks. Then I stamped the leaves all around to form a sort of "patterned paper". I stamped my favorite sentiment from the
Love Deepens set in Onyx Black ink. I added some bling to the centers of the flowers and then layered this piece onto black cardstock. I scored three lines at the bottom of the card base and mounted the focal piece with foam dimensional adhesive to the card base.
