Mojo Embrace Life
I had some time to play along with the latest Mojo Monday Sketch. I decided instead of using a scalloped circle die cut piece of some kind, I'd use this large scalloped flower from Dream Big. Once I decided to use the Winter Frost Collection from WeRMemory Keepers, I chose the color for my flower. I stamped the large flower in Island Indigo ink from Stampin' Up. The new ink stays wet a little longer, so I quickly added clear embossing powder over top and heat embossed the flower. Next I sprinkled glitter over the flower and re-heat it. The glitter became embedded in the flower. I hand cut the large flower, but the smaller flower was die cut using the Scalloped Flowers Die Set. I layered it on top of the first and added a Prima Crystal to the center.
I die cut leaves using the Dreamy Leaves Die Set, then stamped them with the coordinating stamp from the set. I tucked them behind the flower to create the focal piece on the card. I used the Flourished Trim Die twice to create a border and then stamped the sentiment going up the side of the card. As a finishing touch, I added stitching to the card. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you're having a great day!
