Taylored Expressions September Spotlights: 13 Dead End Drive

Just in case you missed the news yesterday, the new products from Taylored Expressions are NOW AVAILABLE in the TE store!!  And in celebration of TE's 5th birthday, we have another party game to play!!  The Birthday Bash will continue all month long with something special each week in September!!

Today I have a simple and cute project to share with you!  It uses a simple lunch bag.  I found this pack of neon colored lunch bags in the craft section of Walmart and tucked them in my stash what seems like ages ago.  When I decided I wanted to create with the 13 Dead End Drive Die, I came across these bags and they'd be perfect for a Halloween treat!!

First I die cut the spooky scene out of black cardstock using the 13 Dead End Drive Die.  Before attaching it to the bag, I cut pieces of yellow and orange cardstock to fit behind the image.  I glued the die cut onto the lunch bag.  Next I added bats from the Gothic Window Accessories and a fence using the Spooky Fence Border Die.  I just LOVE the spooky scene these dies created without much fuss!  No coloring. . .just diecutting and pasting!

The sentiment is from the Halloween Doodles set.   The ribbon and cardstock is all from the Halloween Project Pantry.  I hope you've enjoyed my project today!!  Thanks for visiting all week!  Be sure to check out the creations of the rest of the Baker's Dozen and to play today's game. . .Guess the Number!  You can get all the details at Taylor's Blog!

Very cool. Haunted houses are one of my fave Halloween images. I've been looking for the perfect one and I think I found it.
