Verve New Release Spotlight - Day 4

Today is the fourth and final day of New Release Spotlights for Verve.  Everything you've seen featured this week will be available for purchase tonight after the Release Party!  Today's featured sets are Hope Blooms and the Proverbs 16:9 Plain Jane.  The card I'm sharing with you today uses the Hope Blooms set along with two others you've already seen this week, Proverbs 31:28 Plain Jane and Bloom & Grow.

I haven't used my Adirondack paint daubers in a while, so I thought I would use them with these sets.  I started with black cardstock and thought the paint would show up really well on the dark cardstock.  I stamped the flowers from Hope Blooms in Watermelon, Sunshine Yellow, Sunset Orange and Lettuce.  After stamping all of the flowers, I used the leaves image from Bloom & Grow and overstamped them with my Pearl Paint Dauber.

After all of the paint was dry, I stamped the Proverbs 31:28 Plain Jane in Versamark ink and then embossed it in gold.  It was tough to get a good picture that showed the embossed sentiment well.

As always, for more beautiful creations using today's featured sets, visit the rest of the Divas!  Hope to see you at the release party tonight!
