Different

I just LOVE the Serenity Prayer that is in Verve Visual's Serenity set. It is so inspiring. I used colors that are VERY different for me. I don't usually use the striking contrast of black and red, but I thought it worked well with the flowers. It gave it an oriental look, in my opinion. What do you think? The FOUR new sets will be released tomorrow, although you can pre-order now! What's even more exciting is that ALL stamps (including the new release stamps) are 15% off this month! Julee's even added free shipping for orders over $40. Head on over and check it out! Don't forget about the Honorable Guest Contest! You have until Friday, February 15 to submit your cards for the contest. You could be the next guest designer for Verve Visual!
On a personal note, the girls are doing MUCH better! Both of their fevers are gone. All that remains is the coughing, a little sneezing, and Arwen's RUNNY NOSE! I have never seen a child whose nose runs as much as Arwen's! Isaac has the sneezing and coughing, but not as bad as the girls. . .and at least his nose isn't running! Even my husband is sick. Somehow, I escaped the sickness. (knock on wood) Thank you all for your well wishes! Hope you have a wonderful day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Serenity (Verve Visual); Paper- Scarlet's Letter (Basic Grey), Basic Black (SU); Ink- Versamark; Accessories- black embossing powder, paper piercer, Basic Black marker, black organdy ribbon, 1 1/4" circle punch.

I love this card and the serenity prayer is has always meant something special to me. I agree that it has an asian flare, I really like it.
I know what you mean about the runny nose. My 2 year old always seems to have a runny nose since we moved to a different climate. I hope it goes away soon like the doc said.

Love the colors! Way to step out of your comfort zone. Hope your house gets better soon. Emerson's nose is running like a faucet too! Good thing we buy Kleenex at Costco!

WOW, Charmaine!! I lovvvvvve your card!! The colors are awesome and being offset by the variation of color on the focal point paper lends so much to the composition. The stamps are a must have, TFS.

I'm happy to hear that the children are doing better. I will continue to lift your family in prayer. God bless you all.
