Four Squares

This card was for this past Wednesday's Sketch Challenge on SCS. I don't think I've ever used this layout for a card. I really had to think about it. I also didn't know what to do with the fourth cow. I'm not crazy about the coloring, but it will work. It also has some sparkle thanks to my Stardust Gel pen! All in all a simple layout, but when you're not used to it, it really becomes a challenge!

Hope your Friday is going well. We're not exactly sure what we're going to do today. "Daddy's" gone for the whole day, so it's just me and the girls. For those of you with real little ones, do you ever find it a real challenge to keep the kids occupied when they don't yet go to school and spend the entire day with you? Do you find it a real challenge not to go crazy yourself? I was just wondering if I was the only one! :) Have a great day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Very Punny; Paper- DCWV Pink, Black, Whisper White; Ink- Basic Black; Accessories- Offray ribbon, Pretty in Pink and Basic Black markers, Stardust Gel pen.

You, my girl, are not alone in your thoughts! At least you have girls! What the heck did I do with two small boys all day by myself? Play roughhouse, play Beanie Baby Bomb (we threw Beanie Babies at each other all the time), danced to music, played at the park, and on the rare occasion they could sit still for a minute, we would color. And yes, I lost my patience with these precious boys more than once a day:)! But, now I have to beg and plead to get them to need me now. They pretty much don't need me for anything anymore other than as a bank. So sad. Hang in there! They'll be 13 and 16 before you know it!

Cute card Charmaine! I know what you mean about having a hard time keeping the little ones entertained. I only have one at home during the day right now, but believe me he is a challenge! I am actually pretty nervous about how I am going to cope this summer with the three of my boys at home AND a new baby. I think I'll be doing a lot of praying. :)

What a fun card. I love the way you attached the ribbon!

I have three kids, the oldest is almost 4, the youngest is 7 months. So I TOTALLY am with you. It makes for a long day sometimes, doesn't it? I'm grateful my two girls (the oldest and middle) are close in age so they play together pretty well. We just moved into our home a year and a half ago, and a swing set is coming next week. I CAN'T WAIT!!! I just wish I could figure out how to stamp as often and as well as you do. I loved the picture of your little girl the other day...I need to get my girls their own stamps. They have their own space in my stamp room, and often color when I'm stamping, but they would absolutely LOVE their own stamps.

Ok, seriously, I'm DREADING summer break for this very reason. I have 3 boys ages 7, 5, & 2 and I have NO idea what I'm going to do to keep them entertained for three solid months. SU! convention helps me maintain my sanity by giving me a break about half way through. That's how I "justify" it to DH!! ;)

I'm there too Charmaine!! At least it's getting nice now so they've been outside a lot, plus my DH has been home this week to "help" with the new baby! :) I'm afraid my children watch too much tv!
