Well...we went to Pittsburgh, as you know. That's always fun! Interesting - well, we did manage to stop at the St. Louis Arch for my very first visit.

We've taken round 1 of swimming lessons and my daughter's gone from not wanting to put her head under, to swimming like a fish! My son's not so keen on it, but loves the water nonetheless.

I've played tooth fairy two nights in a row (since hannah lost her two top front teeth one right after another!).

I've cut out about 100 stamp sets (or so it seems!). I've attended a few band concerts (my husband's band), and basically sat around with my neighbors. Not necessarily interesting, but lots of fun. This is the first time I've "hung out" with neighbors...and LIKED them!

We have been hanging at the pool this summer. This is the first year that my kids are really old enough to go. We are loving it!

Well...it's not really fun, but it's definitely been interesting...my dear MIL passed away in April, so we've been dismantling her house, bringing furniture to our home, sorting through, etc. The nice part (and the sad part) are the feeling and experiences we remember as we're going through her things. And the other nice part has been seeing dh's sister and brother during the process (we live in AL; they live in CT and TX, respectively). So, it's been a good, but bittersweet summer so far....
At the end of the summer, we're taking an annual trip to CA for dr visits and some fun!

The funnest thing we did as a family was take the kids to Lagoon an amusment park in Utah. We spent the whole day riding rides and playing at Lagoona Beach. The kids had a blast. My favorite thing thing this summer was making supervisor for SU in June.

My black lab, Ebony, had her 1st litter of puppies on mother's day and our family has been tending to them for the past 8 1/2 weeks now. Very, very busy but those little itty bitty kisses are so worth it, kwim?

So far, my fun consists of stamping, lounging on the deck with stamping mags. and the S.U. catty - my first one! Making a list and checking it twice, lol. There's a block party in my neighborhood in August and vacation for me isn't until the fall. So we're staying cool!!!

I spent last week at the lake with my two sons their wives and my new grandson and of course my wonderful husband. I caught the only fish that were caught so of course that was a lot of fun. We all also went to a baseball game and ate out every night. Lots of family time. That is the best!

The most interesting thing I've done this summer is having cataract surgery. It's not real common at my age (36). Now I can see better than ever before!

Interesting, taking care of three kiddos on a 12 hour drive to California. Not so fun though. Hahaha. We had a great time at the beach though. Even more interesting was getting a thyroid scan by ingesting radiation. Love your blog.

Honey...I've been a cardmaking machine. Every day this summer I have made at least one card. It may not sound like alot, but I hadn't really sat down and stamped in about 7 months. It has been wonderful digging through all of my stuff and playing!

Thanks for sharing your goodies with us!

We did something this summer that we have never done, but it might seem silly. Every year in Oklahoma City, we host the Oklahoma Summer Classic Dog Show! Funny, I know. And my dh and I are cat people!! But I wanted to go and we were able to catch the very last group of dogs and saw the best in show overall, and it was actually really fun. :) Thanks for the oodagoodies!

The funnest thing I've done this summer was go to Michigan's Adventure with a youth group of our church. I'm an avid rollercoaster rider and enjoyed all the fun rollercoasters that they have there. I have to say thought that the Big Ride there "Shivering Timbers" was rather intimidating looking and I had to ride it 3 times. Hehehe. Sothat's what I did this summer.

OK, fun and intersting, well we did laugh alot. Was on vacation in Central Florida and there is a quaint little town Mt. Dora, they have a beautiful lake and a train ride, well 5 of us took the train, we never laughed so much, you see it was a typical train ride, we got to see the back of warehoused and shopping centers, no lake. Did see some pretty houses, that is for those of us who did not blink

The most interesting thing so far has been my son's Little League. He made the Jr. All Star team (13 - 14 yr olds...he just turned 15) He had tournament games last weekend and will have this weekend. I didn't see much of his regular season, but now that I'm off work for the summer, it's been a blast to go and watch!
Hope you're having a great summer too!

Thanks for the chance to win blog candy.

Even though I live close and have gone on numerous times to see Niagara Falls...its awesomeness and powerfulness never cease to amaze me. For fun-I took out 13 bags of recycling and 4 large buckets of yard waste that would not fit in the composter. I lead such an exciting life. Ooh-forgot I drove in a tornado warning to pick up hubby at the airport and they diverted him for 3 1/2 hours to Toledo! That was pretty much the last straw for me ever going to an airport. And I rolled down the window to look out and see what I could see-and a semi drove by and I got soaked!

We have been having a nicer than usual summer in Pittsburgh (so far) and in June I had out of town guests and we went to see the Chiluly glass exhibit at Phipps Conservatory. It was the most beautiful thing I've seen in a long while. Took lots of pictures and so now I have to get them on pages. Amuse-a-Palooza at Stamp Fanci was fun. I'm just grateful for the many days (like today) when we've been able to have windows open and not the air conditioner running. I like visiting your blog-always something creative going on! Hope you'll stop in to Your Memory Page (not far from Stamp Fanci) one of these days. Joyce G.

We enjoy camping and making s'mores. I also enjoy rafting with my husband.

Not sure what happens when I comment as an "other" rather than a "Blogger" but thought I would try it.
I'm "turkey1969" on SCS and I'm sure that's how I found your blog. I've been following it for awhile now.
My summer excitement so far has been my trip to Vegas for a 7-7-7 wedding. We had a great time.

Well, my two girls (7&10)and I have been doing some crafting, some playing, playing in the kiddie pool, and next week I'm heading home, where I grew up, to show them my old house, see some family, visit Niagra Falls and more fun stuff!-- that book would be a great project to alter and put some memories in!!

I have been exploring blogs and discovered a wonderful world! I am off for the summer, so I have time to experiment. Other than that, summer has been wonderfully low key!!!

Happy Birthday to you. I'm late submitting my name for blog candy because I neglected my blog subscriptions for four whole days. Leaving those alone for all those days is quite disasterous! Happy anniversary too. You look stunning in your dress. Love all your cards, and your blog.

Looks like I'm squeeking in at the last minute! Your wedding photo is gorgeous. I attended my cousin's wedding last weekend which was one of the highlights of my summer. It was a 40's theme complete with zoot suits, swing dancing, a 1942 Buick, and a beautiful bride.

Well, my hubby and son just returned from a 9 day camping trip with my inlaws. I missed them lots, but I had so much quiet time to stamp and relax - it was truly the ultimate "vacation" and what a reasonable cost!
