Well, I REALLY don't like this one. I think it's because the faux stitching looks sloppy to me, I don't know. Anyway, this card was for today's Color Challenge, Rusty Marigolds. . .to use Really Rust, Brocade Blue and Marigold Morning. I LOVE this color combo. I stamped the biggest flower in the Big Blooms set on shrink plastic, then stamped the sentiments from Sweet Shapes in the centers of the flowers. I cut them out, then put the heat gun to them. I had such a problem getting them to shrink evenly or without a petal sticking to the middle. It was a cute idea in my head, but unfortunately it didn't make it to the paper that way. Oh well, ya can't like them all, right? Maybe I'll have time to try another one later? SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Big Blooms, Big Pieces, Little Pieces, Sweet Shapes, Linen; Ink- Basic Black, Really Rust, Brocade Blue, Marigold Morning, Versamark, Black StazOn; Paper- Really Rust, Brocade Blue, Marigold Morning, Whisper White; Accessories- Making Memories black brad, black marker, shrink plastic, paper piercer, horizontal slot punch, gold grosgrain, large oval punch.

I think it's a darling card! Love the shrink flowers! I haven't had a chance to check out the color combo today but from seeing this, I'm gonna have to play around with it when I get a moment. :)

And yes, there are times that I just don't like a card. Sometimes I leave them and when I come back they seem to grow on me more and sometimes they just don't! They can't all be winners, I guess! :D
