Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Erin Go Bragh !! Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone. I don't usually make St. Patrick's Day cards, but I got some really neat paper in my latest DCWV Spring Stack, so I thought I'd try and put them together. The sentiment is from the $1 bin at Michael's. Once I put it all together, it looked a little too busy with the patterned paper and all the words. My eye didn't know whether to look at those words or "good luck", so I sponged Chocolate Chip ink all over the patterned paper to calm it down a bit. The clover sticker is also from Michael's. When the card was all put together it still needed something, so I decided to do the faux stitching thing again. So far, it's always seemed to be my answer. "Good luck" was colored in with Prismacolor pencils using a stump and Gamsol. I also lined the letters with my Gelly Roll Stardust pen, but you can't really see the sparkle in the picture. SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- sentiment from Michael's $1 bin; Paper- DCWV Spring Stack, brown, SU Basic Black, Whisper White; Ink- Basic Black, Chocolate Chip; Accessories- clover sticker from Michael's, Making Memories brads, Word Window punch, paper piercer, black marker, Gelly Roll Stardust pen, Prismacolor pencils, Gamsol, stump.

If you're celebrating St. Patrick's Day today, celebrate safely! There is a big parade here, but it's too cold to take the girls out to stand for so long. Lots and lots of people, though! Remember to check back tomorrow, Sunday, a little after 10am EST to see if you've won the "Oodagoodies"! If you haven't left a comment and would like to, just check out the "Oodagoodie" post! Have a great day and thank you so much for visiting!
