Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek - Day 1

It's time again to share some sneak peeks with you of new Taylored Expressions sets that are going to be released Saturday, September 5th!

Today's sneak peek is of the newest in the Taylored Expressions Giving Tree charitable program, The Places You'll Go. For each stamp set sold, Taylored Expressions will be donating $7.00 to the Books for Kids Foundation. The mission of the Books for Kids Foundation is to promote literacy among all children with a special emphasis on low-income and at-risk preschool-aged children. Books for Kids creates libraries, donates books, and partners with literacy programs to develop the critical early foundation and skills which young children need to be successful in life. For the months of September, October and November when you purchase this set you'll be helping to support the Books for Kids Foundation.

I just LOVE this set. It is adorable, but I love it because it's perfect for this time in my life right now. Savannah, my oldest, just started kindergarten and is learning to read! My project today is just for her. She LOVES Dr. Suess and we read many Dr. Suess books! I couldn't think of a more fitting card for her. I used the Places You'll Go Key Ingredients too! Included in the Key Ingredients is this adorable chipboard book. I decided I would make a little scrapbook for her that we will fill up with kindergarten memories. I've started the first two pages with pictures of her first day! :) See how proud she is of her new backpack! LOL

You won't want to miss what the rest of the Baker's Dozen has in store for you today!
