Verve New Release Spotlight - Day 1

Today the Verve Divas are Spotlighting sets from the next release, which is this Friday, December 3rd at 9pm in the Verve Forum!  This first card I'm featuring the Amazing Wishes set.  It contains 13 sentiments and two flower images. . .lots of stamps packed in a little set!  I also used the Vintage Oval Frame Die on this card.  The flowers were stamped on patterned paper and cut out.  I added rhinestone brads to the centers  The sentiment is framed in Cinnamon Stickles for a little sparkle.

The second card I have to show you uses the Wordy Birds set.  This is an adorable little set perfect for those Just Because, Congrats and birthday cards.  For this card, I stamped the birds onto Kraft cardstock and colored them using Copic markers.  I added some Stardust Stickles to their wings.  I cut the focal piece out using the Sweet Scallop Tag Die.  The background piece was created using my Scor Pal and Scor Bug.  I used the Martha Stewart fringe scissors to create the grass.
Be sure to check out what the rest of the Divas have to show you today!  Stop back again tomorrow for another peek!

I'd have a tough time choosing a favorite between these two cards. I love the colors and design of the flowers card, and then I look at the birds and the subtle use of color and embellishment and am taken away by it, too. Great inspiration! Thanks.

Such a pretty cards, you really rock these pastels, I have trouble creating with this color palette. Love the grass you created too and how you wove the birdie panel into it.
