Verve Project Parade

This month's Project Parade has started over at the Verve Blog! Be sure to stop over to see the beautiful projects AND for a chance to win some Verve goodness!

Today is my day to share what I came up with for this month. The theme was Tags, Tins and Treats and Julee provided this inspiration photo, but it wasn't a requirement to use it. I was inspired by it right away.

It's no secret that I LOVE creating little treats. Most of the time I'm creating them for my daughters' classmates, but I like to create them for friends and family too. I know I'd love to receive a little Valentine treat like this!

I used the Fancy Favor die from Stampin' Up to create my box. I used the Heart's Desire and Bountiful Backgrounds sets. Everything was embossed using white embossing powder. Then I stamped one of the heart clusters from Heart's Desire in Berry Sorbet ink, but a couple out and attached them over hearts in the heart frame to tie in the color of the vintage lettering from the photo. The finishing touch was to add the organdy polka dot ribbon and the truffles!

Be sure to visit the Verve Blog and enter for a chance to win! Thanks for stopping by!
