Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #19

What a fun sketch Beate came up with this time. . .although, she always comes up with something good! :) I decided to go with something for Halloween for this sketch. I have LOVED this Home Is Where the Haunt Is set since I bought it a couple of years ago, but I haven't used it very much. It was time to pull it out! I tried to create a sort of "haunted house" scene, but I'm not sure it worked. I think maybe I should have made the "stepping stones" a different color. I don't know. The pillars at the gate are on dimensionals to give the 3D effect that you have to walk through them to get to the house. I don't recommend cutting out the iron gate. . .it was very tedious with the hobby blade. The windows were colored over with a Sakura clear glaze pen. I don't know if you can tell from the picture that they look glassy. I added a "paperclip" with the 1" circle punch and the slit punch in the upper left corner of the card. I needed somewhere to put a little ribbon, and that's what I came up with. I found I kept running out of room on the card.
